Futureproof is a community-led music and culture project built by artists, creators and dreamers who believe London needs more spaces for genuine connection.
We're not interested in louder nights, bigger crowds or faster lifestyles.
We're interested in creating experiences that help people slow down, connect, create and remember what it feels like to be fully present.
Futureproof exists to bring together emerging musicians, conscious communities, creative minds and curious people through unique events across London.
This launch event marks the beginning of that journey.
Guests attending FUTUREPROOF 001 will have the opportunity to apply for a limited-edition FUTUREPROOF Black Card, giving access to exclusive discounts, priority booking, private events, workshops, collaborations, musician bookings and future members-only experiences.
This is the first chapter of something much bigger.

WHAT?
A cruise.
But not the kind you're thinking of.
Let's be honest — the London Underground is considerably faster than a canal boat.
You could probably walk parts of the route quicker.
That's exactly the point.
Modern London moves at incredible speed.
We're constantly rushing somewhere, checking something, scrolling something or planning something.
Futureproof was born as the opposite of that.
Over the past few months we've spent countless hours preparing The Arthur for summer. Unexpectedly, the most memorable moments weren't the busy ones.
They were the quiet ones.
The reflections on the water.
The evening sunlight dancing across the canal.
The conversations that had nowhere else to be.
The musicians capable of silencing the noise of the city and bringing an entire audience into a single shared moment.
Futureproof is built around those moments.
The performers featured throughout the day have been carefully selected for their ability to create exactly that feeling.
This isn't background music.
It's music worth listening to.

WHERE?
THE ARTHUR
The Arthur is Futureproof's flagship floating venue.
A solar-powered canal cruiser reimagined as a creative gathering space, designed specifically for intimate live music, community events and unforgettable experiences.
The upper deck combines open-air seating, a grass-covered terrace, shaded lounge areas, solar-powered infrastructure and panoramic views of London's waterways.
Below deck you'll find a welcoming social space complete with bar facilities, kitchen services and sheltered seating areas designed for conversation, creativity and connection.
For FUTUREPROOF 001, The Arthur will depart from King's Cross and make its way through one of London's most iconic waterways before arriving at Camden Lock.
The journey itself is part of the experience.
This isn't simply transportation.
It's a floating reset.

Futureproof events will continue throughout the year in different forms.
However, there will only ever be one FUTUREPROOF 001.
This is our launch event.
The beginning.

We're pulling out all the stops to make this one special.

Upon arrival at Camden Lock, The Arthur transforms into an open-deck music venue featuring live performances from a carefully curated lineup of emerging artists.
Guests are welcome to:

• Return to the venue at any time before the event concludes
